Gates Foundation’s Rosen Joins Dean’s Advisory Board

Robert Rosen, Director of Philanthropic Partnerships for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, has joined the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Clinton School of Public Service at the University of Arkansas.

Guided by the belief that every life has equal value, the Gates Foundation works to help all people lead healthy, productive lives. In his current role, Rosen leads a team that oversees the foundation’s relationship with philanthropists and charitable organizations across the globe.

Before joining the foundation in 2007, Rosen served as senior director of the Corporate Finance Practice of the Corporate Executive Board, the international business strategy and research firm. Previously he served as political director for Senator Edward M. Kennedy, and in the White House as assistant to the president and director of Advance for President Clinton.

Rosen earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont.

The Dean’s Advisory Board is composed of leaders from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors who provide advice to Dean Victoria M. DeFrancesco Soto on strategic issues impacting the future of the Clinton School; act as ambassadors of the school and its students, faculty, and research; provide insights to the Dean on how the Clinton School can enhance its mission of social impact; and assist in the recruitment of prospective students and the placement and advancement of Clinton School graduates.
