Norwood Named Clinton School Business Officer

Benita Norwood has joined the Clinton School of Public Service at the University of Arkansas as the school’s new Business Officer.

Norwood brings nearly 25 years of experience in accounting and finance to the Clinton School. Most recently, she spent six years as a Fiscal Support Analyst at UA Little Rock, assisting the university’s Facilities Management Department with requisitions, procurement, and invoice processing, among other responsibilities. She managed multiple foundation funds and all departmental scholarships.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Benita to the Clinton School as our new Business Officer,” said Dean Victoria M. DeFrancesco Soto. “Her background in accounting, finance, and fiscal support in higher education will be critical as the Clinton School continues to grow.”

Norwood previously spent 15 years working with KUAR, UA Little Rock’s public radio station, providing fiscal support for the station and its general manager. She assisted the station’s Director of Development with on-air fundraisers, volunteer recruitment, and development reports.

Norwood is a native of Little Rock, she is a graduate of Joe T. Robinson High School and Big Bend Community College.
