On Giving Tuesday, we hope you will consider supporting Clinton School students with a tax-deductible contribution as they continue to do impactful work within the state and across the globe.
What distinguishes the Clinton School from other graduate programs is that a significant portion of its curriculum is direct field service work. These “hands-on” field service projects range from local work in Arkansas communities to international projects on each of the world’s six inhabited continents.
Since the school was established in 2004, Clinton School students have combined to total more than 367,000 hours of non-classroom work – equaling more than 40 years of civic engagement.
Below is a closer look at the different ways you can help:
Amanda Harris Memorial Scholarship Fund
Named for Clinton School graduate Amanda Harris ('09), who passed away in September 2016, the scholarship is awarded to a student committed to working with a community partner on a Capstone project focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Jenna Rhodes Memorial Fund
A fund in memory of Clinton School graduate Jenna Rhodes ('14), who passed away in July 2019, has been established by her family at the Clinton School.
Standerfer Student Travel Reimbursement Fund
Named for Professor Emeritus Christina Standerfer, the Standerfer Travel Fund provides financial support for Clinton School MPS and Clinton School Online students' registration and travel to a conference, workshop, or training that is related to their professional development.
Student Emergency Assistance Fund
The Student Emergency Assistance Fund provides financial support for students who experience unexpected non-academic emergency needs. Since 2007, this fund has supported many students when unanticipated crises have occurred, allowing them to continue their education while managing unexpected turns of life.
