LITTLE ROCK -- More than 80 contestants packed the Clinton Center Great Hall on Wednesday to participate in Arkansas Puzzle Day at the Clinton School.

Participants competed in a crossword and sudoku puzzle tournament administered by New York Times Crossword Editor Will Shortz. Shortz challenged contestants with puzzles that will appear in next week's Times.

Ellen Brantley -- pictured at right with Will Shortz -- took home top honors in the crossword competition, while Beth Levi swept the sudoku puzzle contest.
